INTEGRATING LOGISTICS SUPPORT FROM THE DESIGN PHASE
The ILS (Integrated Logistic Support) activities cover all the activities related to the analysis of the logistic support suitability of the designed systems, the studies and the realisation of the support system in order to best meet the requirements of availability and life span of the equipment on board the rolling stock.
ILS ACTIVITIES
Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities cover the study and implementation of the support system in order to best meet the requirements of system availability, lifespan and Maintenance in Operational Condition (MCO).
- Maintainability study, identifying the time required for each preventive and corrective maintenance task
- Drafting of documents (user manual, maintenance manual, training plan, etc.)
- Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transport (PHST) specifications.
- Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety assessment (RAMS)
- Testability study, aiming to define troubleshooting flowcharts
- The sizing of spare parts
Based on the assignment profile and customer requirements, ACTIA determines product reliability, architecture, redundancies, maintenance organisation,
spare parts and repair prices, in order to optimise operating costs. This work is combined with obsolescence management, maintenance of skills and
resources to ensure that its customers are kept in operational condition.
