Images, sound and metadata from the train’s carriages are recorded in real time, in multiple resolutions if required. Solutions based on an IP network enable images to be broadcast simultaneously to the driver’s monitors or to ground safety centres in real time.
The use of standards such as ONVIF means that solutions can be upgraded and made more flexible, making it easier to interface with the various interacting systems (VMS, law enforcement agencies, etc.).
With the control and communication software, the security centre can view the cameras in real time and play back the recordings on board the vehicles, without interrupting the commercial service.
The management of events and alarms from the on-board system means that operators can be directed to the right vehicle and the right camera very quickly, thereby removing any doubt as to the seriousness of the event.
